The wait is finally over, after four years in development Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has finally received a solid release date and best of all it’s next month.

Earlier today 505 games revealed that the game would be releasing on June 18th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC while Nintendo Switch owners will get the game a week later on June 25th.

A spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Bloodstained had seen a few delays up to this point but it looks like it was all worth it which was revealed in a new trailer.

The trailer starts off by posting comments from backers who weren’t too happy with the game’s visuals which leads Koji Igarashi to respond by saying “Ill show them” and what we get as a wonderful trailer highlighting the differences between the E3/Backer Demo and the upcoming release.

Well played IGA and as a backer I am more excited for this game than ever. To tide you over until the release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night you might want to check out Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon which is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
