Director Bassam Tariq as we already heard about two weeks ago has parted ways.
Blade was in preproduction in Atlanta but now Marvel has shut down until a new director is on board. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The studio is hoping to restart the production in early 2023. After the publication of this story, Disney pushed Blade from its Nov. 3, 2023, release date to Sept. 6, 2024 — one of a slew of changes due to the film’s delay.”
Fans have been anticipating a new Blade but for now we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
