As reported this past week, Blizzard has teased at their next Hero coming to Overwatch. The tease was an intercepted communication from Talon personnel explaining that a one Jean-Baptiste Augustin had gone rogue and has now gone missing.

One was to wonder how long Blizzard would keep fans in suspense for the inevitable announcement, and lucky for us it didn’t take too long.

Today, only a few short days after the initial tease, we can now confirm that Baptiste will be joining the fight as the games 30th Hero.

Announced today via an Origins Story video, Baptiste was born on the streets where it was kill or be killed eventually joining Talon to make money. He then realized that money was not all to a person and gave it all up to offer help to those who needed it. Baptiste comes from a medic background but is not afraid to get his hands dirty.

There is currently no details on his moveset or release date. Stay tuned for more updates.

Overwatch is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
