FanimeCon recently announced that they will have Aya Hirano as a guest of honor this year. Fanime is scheduled for May 24-27 at the San Jose Convention Center.
Aya Hirano shot to fame with her infamous role as Haruhi Suzumiya from the popular series Melancholy of Harushi Suzumiya back in 2006. From there, she has only continued with much success as she took on roles such as Lucy from Fairy Tail, Misa from Death Note, Konata from Lucky Star, Nobume from Gintama, and many more. She is also very well-known for her contributions to various opening and ending theme songs, along with soundtracks. I daresay the most infamous classic being “God Knows” from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
