In a world where Apple seems to be absolutely against consumer friendliness with accessibility, the company announces that it will allow games to fully support PS4 and Xbox controllers across all platforms.

During the 2019 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple unveiled more details about the upcoming gaming service called Apple Arcade. One of these big announcements was the support of console controllers. More specifically, PS4 and Xbox. This is pretty big news given Apple’s history with support of 3rd party products. One of them being from a direct competitor, Microsoft.

With as much doubt and questions that would surround this announcement, PlayStation Twitter shared this image.

As of this posting, Xbox has not made a similar announcement. However, With Microsoft releasing their Project Xcloud to the Public later this year, no doubt they have been working with apple a long time to get their controller supported on Apple devices.
