I give A Ghost Story Blu-ray a B+.
I honestly had this Blu-ray playing in the background as I worked on my laptop. I knew there was an accident. I knew she just ID’d her husband/boyfriend’s body. I knew he was dead. When the body sat up on the bed. I had to rewind it just to see what was going on. Again, I watched the body sit up on the bed and it proceeded to walk around as a Ghost. No, not the see-through kind. I’m talking about the bedsheet kind with the eye holes. I was thinking what is going on?! But, as I continued to watch this film, Its a simple story about a Ghost. One who very much loves a woman the same or maybe more as he did when he was alive. He travels back to their home but eventually, his love moves out leaving a note in a crack in the door frame. You feel for the Ghost because his one mission is to see what she wrote on this note as he continually gets interrupted.
I loved the simplicity of this story. The ghost spoke no words but you could feel what he was feeling. You felt his longing and love he had for this women. You felt he was alone and you wanted him to read the note in the doorframe.
Catch A Ghost Story out on Blu-ray & Digital HD Tuesday, October 3rd.
