2024 SATURN AWARDS: STELLAR WINS FOR STAR TREK

STAR TREK: PICARD’S third and final season set phasers to ‘win’, and dominated at the Saturn Awards this weekend. As it beamed out of there with four trophies, including Best Television Series, and individual wins for stars Patrick Stewart, Jonathan, Frakes, and Jeri Ryan.  Showrunner Terry Matalas accepted the award for Best Television Series, for which Strange New Worlds was also nominated.

But don’t feel too bad, because sister show, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds wasn’t shut out of the competition. As Paul Wesley won Best Guest Star in a Television Series for his role as Captain James Kirk.

Then not to be outdone, Star Trek: The Next Generation warped to infinity and beyond, as it was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to the attending cast members by Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige. – LIVE LONG AND PROSPER Y’ALL…
