My Thoughts

I give the Rings Blu-ray a B.

I am a huge horror fan and I love the Rings franchise though I prefer its Japanese counterpart (Ringu) over the English one.  I have to say Samara is scarier in the Japanese films though she still gives me the chills in any of them.  The actress they chose to portray her was amazing.  She could contort her body in all these weird position and did this pop-locking motion that gave this creepy presence (almost digital-like) to the character.  Of course you can’t forget the “SEVEN DAYS”.  This film is not complete without it!  The story is the same as to the background to Samara and what had happen to her (just with a little more insight). What would you do if you saw this creepy video tape.  Would you be tempted to play it (knowing the curse behind it)?

Catch Rings out on Blu-ray, DVD, & Digital HD May 2, 2017!
