The soundtrack to the first Guardians of the Galaxy was so iconic, it practically was a character in the movie. It was number one for eleven weeks on the Billboard top 200, went platinum and was the second highest selling soundtrack album of all time behind the soundtrack to Disney’s ‘Frozen”. so with the upcoming release of Guardians of the Galaxy vol2, a lot of people can’t wait to get their hands on the new Awesome Mix! But what if I told you can get a hold of it this Friday on a bag of Doritos

Wait, ON a bag of Doritos? Doritos has teamed up with Marvel to release a limited edition Doritos bags featuring a built-in cassette tape deck-inspired player that plays the full soundtrack. The bags can also be recharged for repeat listening! The custom bags will be available for consumer purchase on April 28 via Amazon.com/Doritos while supplies last.

Also, GotG fans in NYC and L.A. can rock out with Doritos this Friday when they set up recording booths. Fans will get the chance to sing one of the Marvel/Hollywood Records soundtrack’s classic tunes. In addition, they’ll have the opportunity to win various prizes, including the custom cassette player replica Doritos bags, concert and other event tickets and free bags of Doritos. The booths will be in Greeley Square in NYC and Hollywood and Highland in L.A. from 11am to 7pm.
