On Mondays edition of the NERD REPORT podcast (Ep 40) yours truly and co-host Julio Robles talked about Variety’s interview with director and famed puppeteer Frank Oz. In case you haven’t heard, during the interview Frank Oz was asked about reprising his role in the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie.

There are reports that you might reprise Yoda in the new “Star Wars.”

“I feel like I’m a prisoner at war here, and I can only give you my name, rank and serial number. To be true to the people who asked me, and they are kind of my family, I have to say I’ve been asked not to talk about it. I love Yoda. I would be happy to talk to you about it at the time they let me.”

So what does this mean? Yes, we’ll see a force ghost Yoda or maybe Yoda in some other form in The Last Jedi? We don’t have confirmation yet, but if you want to hear our take on it, take a listen to the Nerd Report podcast right here for our thoughts.

This weeks comic book release is Star Wars: Poe Dameron issue #12 written by Charles Soule with cover art and pencilling by Phil Noto.
Synopsis: Poe is on the run from Terex’s forces with only C-3PO and BB-8 to help him! Can the greatest pilot in the galaxy survive without a ship? PLUS: A traitor revealed?!
