Impressions out of the Ghost Recon Wildlands closed beta haven’t been all that encouraging, but I did see some people say they were thankful for having tried it anyway.
The early hands-on time told them what they needed to know about the open-world shooter, which is that there’s something to its co-op sandbox, but ultimately, it falls short of reaching its potential. Maybe it’ll get there one day.
If you’re curious to see what if anything Ubisoft has changed going into the open beta, you can start downloading the game client now.
It’s available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Uplay, and the open beta is scheduled to run from Thursday, February 23 to Monday, February 27.
Pre-loading has become fairly common, but it’s not always a guarantee, so this is nice to see.
