One of the rumors surrounding Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is that Joseph Gordon-Levitt would appear in the film as “Batman.” His appearance as the Dark Knight would set the stage for the Justice League movie. In an interview with MTV Gordon-Levitt claimed that he “hasn’t even heard the rumor yet” which in my opinion means he’s in the film.
