I love the Broken Lizard lizard comedy troupe and movies featuring the whole cast like Beerfest , Super Troopers and the Slammin’ Salmon but each member also have a few movies under there belts whether it be writing, comedy, directing or just straight acting.
Well Jay Chandrasekhar (pictured above) has been selected to direct and work on the script for Yogi Bear 2 a movie that did less than stellar the first time around. It had to be tough the first time around to reboot a famous 80′s cartoon icon who was smarter than the average bear.
The first movie was critically panned by critics and reviewers but well received making $200 million world wide, can Jay Chandrasekhar use his style of comedy and directing to make this movie even better? I grew up watching the original cartoons and animated movies and the first CGI movie just didn’t hold my interest.
So far there is no word if the original voice cast will be returning.
