Spider-Man has seen plenty of changes in his life, starting as a comic book character for Marvel Comics. The popularity of the webslinger has launched him beyond the pages and into cartoons, video games, toys, clothes, and anything else you can imagine a merchandising license can be slapped on. Spider-Man went as far as to get a live action television show and a few movies. The previous Spider-Man trilogy starred Tobey Maguire and after the less than spectacular third film, 20th Century Fox decided to get back to Peter Parker’s roots and instead of featuring his future wife Mary Jane Watson, it focused on Parker’s high school love Gwen Stacey.
