Jim Carrey as a super hero? For some reason I still see him wearing that infamous green outfit etched with question marks and trying to stump the Dynamic Duo, but regardless he will always be one of my favorite comedians.
Today, it has been confirmed by ”Kick-Ass 2″ director Jeff Wadlow, that Carrey will be playing Colonel Stars, an integral member of the Kick-Ass series who helps bring super heroes together. Thanks to some twitter messages spread around by the cast and director the hints helped people guess who it could be before the announcement was made public.

That’s not all! Along with returning cast Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Chloe Moretz (Hit-Girl), Nicolas Cage (Big Daddy,) they will be joined by John Leguizamo and Donald Faison in the sequel.
“Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall” will be released on June 28th, 2013.
