“Battleship” is one of those movies that excels ahead of most other Blu-ray releases. The film is meant for the quality that only Blu-ray’s High Definition Media can deliver.
Here are some of the reasons why you should buy a copy of “Battleship” on Blu-ray when it’s released on Tuesday, August 28th.
First of all, the explosions and battles will take your home theater sound equipment to its limit. The battle scenes are delivered with crystal clear sound and perfect bass. If you are planning on having a get together with friends and want to show off your sound system this is the Blu-ray to use. It offers impressive high quality acoustics.
Secondly, the picture quality is beautiful. Have you ever wondered how to distinguish picture quality between Blu-ray and DVD? Well, you definitely will not have that problem with this disc. “Battleship” on Blu-ray offers superior film quality. Enjoy the roiling battles at sea with sharp clarity on your HD TV.
Another reason why I recommend this Blu-ray is the top notch special effects. Although the movie did not receive the hype of such films as “Transformers” or “The Avengers,” the special effects are just as impressive. The movie delivers amazing special effects coupled with action sequences that are comparable with most Hollywood blockbusters.
Finally and most importantly, “Battleship” is a fun movie. Yes the sound, special effects, and visuals are great, but it’s all well-packaged as a nice movie experience. After all, a nice movie experience is what all fans are after and owning a Blu-ray player brings audiences one step closer.
