Unless you live under a rock you know that one of the big revelations in “The Dark Knight Rises” was that John Robin Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is destined to become Robin in the Batman universe created by director Christopher Nolan. Since a sequel featuring Robin is unlikely because Nolan has said that he would never make another Batman movie, one thing fans can only imagine is what would Robin or Nightwing look like in that universe?

Luckily, someone has taken matters into his/her own hands and created Fan-Made concept art of John Blake as Robin/Nightwing as he would look like in Nolan’s Batman universe.

    Cool art but I disagree. He isn’t destined to become robin. He’s destined to become the next Batman. They drilled the idea through out the whole trilogy “Batman is just a symbol” “Anyone can be Batman” In the Nolanverse if another hero showed up he wouldn’t inspire hope as he would if the hero were always Batman. The symbol has be to be the same to make ‘Batman’ Immortal.

        But Batman isn’t dead… so Gordon-Levitt could become Nightwing with the movie leading up to Batman ultimately returning….

    cant be Nightwing…ancestry doesnt line up. Nightwing is Superman’s grandson who was adopted by Bruce Wayne’s son. John Robin Blake should just be the next Batman. Period.

      Dude that story (Superman & Batman: Generations, An Imaginary Tale) was an else worlds comic, which means that it is “in another universe”, which just means doesn’t effect normal continuity. This makes your complaint make no sense because your complaint is that a re-imagining doesn’t go exactly by a limited series, one-shot comic, which has nothing to do with the “real” DC continuity. Good day, gentleman.
