The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are two of Comedy Central’s biggest shows, both mix world news with comedy and America loves it, numbers don’t lie. Monday thru Thursday more than 1.3 million people tune to watch the jokes from 11PM to 12AM.
John Stewart and Steven Colbert have extended their contracts with Comedy Central by 2 years, so currently The Colbert Report is going till 2014, and John Stewart will anchor the Daily Show till 2015.
Who knows by 2014, Colbert might really really run for office with the fanbase he has, and all the teasing he has been doing for years he might just take office one day. Stewart may one day take over “The Late Show” with his popularity.
