Batman Director Issues A Statement About The Colorado Shooting!

Batman Director, Christopher Nolan, has issued a statement about the terrible incident that happened in Colorado during the midnight screening of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises, I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community. I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting but that they were there last night to watch a movie. I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me. Nothing any of us can say could ever adequately express our feelings for the innocent victims of this appalling crime, but our thoughts are with them and their families.

“The Dark Knight Rises” is a great movie and is now showing in theaters everywhere ( that means right now) . GO AND WATCH IT PEOPLE… Don’t let this incident stop you from going to the movies and spending time with your family and friends because that’s what the shooter wants. DON’T LET HIM WIN!

    Okay Here’s my beef….
What in the HELL were parents doing with children 6 years of age & infants at a MIDNIGHT
viewing of this an intensely violent, explosion & gunfire filled film?? MIDNIGHT!!
Have parenting skills become so utterly useless that this is something acceptable??
“Gee let’s bring my infant & my toddler to this flim so they can start crying & fussing whenever the noise gets loud from a fire fight or something explodes” How is this even in their heads as remotely a good idea?
That being said, What happened is a nightmare, there is no empathizing or justifying what this man did, & there ar no words  thaqt will console the people who lost friends family & loved ones. It’s truly horrific & those people should be in our thoughts
