Michael ‘MPsy’ here…
Just recently got home from the madness that is San Diego Comic-Con and went right to work on editing photos and such. Personally I had a good time other then the overcrowding of the downtown San Diego during the convention. Something I’ve been observing the past few years that I’ve gone to the comic book convention is that each year there are more and more things to do off site. While I was able to explore pretty much most of the dealers hall, I’ve only scratched the surface of what went on outside the convention center. Of the few things I was able to experience outside the con was the off site area that was the location for the Turtles VS Foot truck, the Django area, the Trickster exhibit, and the XCOM preview at the Hard Rock Hotel. I also discovered a graphic novel which I highly recommend by the title of ‘Get Jiro!’ written by Anthony Bourdain of ‘Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations’ fame.
This year’s convention had a bit of tragedy, some laughs, a tearful reunion, and so much more! Here’s hoping I’m able to return next year and experience it all over again. Now enough of me yapping about my time at Comic-Con and now let me show you what I saw.
