Legendary Pictures revealed a teaser poster for “Godzilla” at Comic-Con this past week. The remake was officially announced after the “Pacific Rim” presentation inside Hall H. Before then, there was no confirmation, only rumors on whether or not a remake for “Godzilla” was in the works. Finally, Legendary Pictures confirmed it.
The last time we saw Godzilla in a major Hollywood production was in 1998. The film was so bad that the only person that liked it was Harry Knowles at Aint It Cool News. Let’s hope this movie turns out better than Roland Emmerich’s monster disaster.
Check out the poster and let us know what you think. Personally, I wish there was a little more substance to this one sheet.

Synopsis:
A giant mutated lizard destroys cities. (We hope!)
“Godzilla” opens theatrically in 2014. The script is penned by David S. Goyer (screenplay,) and Max Borenstein. Brian Rogers will produce, while Gareth Edwards directs.
