The Los Angeles Convention Center hosted first time popular culture convention PopCon LA just this past weekend. Special guests this weekend included Billy Dee Williams, Bruce Boxleitner, Cindy Morgan, Margot Kidder, James Hong, Marina Sirtis, Camden Toy, Cleve Hall, Corey Feldman, Bai Ling, and Tanya Tate just to name a few. Fans throughout the weekend were able to attend a number of panels, screenings, fashion shows, live band performances, and a pop art gallery. Nuke the Fridge were on hand to provide a live video show during the convention and we had a couple of costuming groups on hand such as the Mandalorian Mercs and the Los Angeles Dumbledore’s Army. Personally my favorite panel that I attended personally would have to be the TRON panel with William Kallay, Cindy Morgan, Bruce Boxleitner, and Harrison Ellenshaw.
