Just this past weekend legions of cosplayers descended upon the Los Angeles convention center for the annual Anime Expo which is also North America’s largest anime and manga celebration, organized by the non-profit Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA). Guests of honor this year included LiSA (Angel Beats!), Steve Blum (Cowboy Bebop), Jamie Marchi (Panty and Stocking), Danny Choo (Culture Japan), ANIMETAL USA (NARUTO-SD-Rock Lee No Seisyun Full Power Ninden), Jessica Nigri, and more! Throughout the weekend fans had the oppunity to check out numberous events such as the AX Maid Café, Karaoke, Lounge 21, Artist Alley, Manga Lounge, and a whole slew of panels to sit in on.
