Fans of Takashi Miike have something to look forward to in the form of the new trailer for his film remake of ‘Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai’. Director of ’13 Assassins’ has remade the 1964 Masaki Kobayashi film about the tale of an elder, proverty-stricken samurai who makes his way to his feudal lord’s home to commit an honorable suicide. The new film stars Koji Yakusho (13 Assassins), Eita (Azumi), and Hikari Mitsushima. It will be available on VOD on July 18th and will have a 3D theatrcal release in Los Angeles and New York starting July 20th. Check out the trailer to the film with the tagline of ‘Love. Honor.
