There is no question that a big part of what makes a film become epic and memorable is the score. Back in 1978 John Williams was nominated for composing the Superman theme that still brings chills to most fans. With the upcoming production of “Man of Steel” a big question was who will be that films composer. After all, John Williams is a very hard act to follow.
Today we finally that answer.
Variety has reported that Hans Zimmer will be scoring The Man of Steel. Zimmer is responsible for the music on all three of Nolan Batman films plus Inception. John Williams is a legend, but if anyone can fill his shoes it’s Hans Zimmer.
Since I strongly believe that music can make or break a movie this announcement has made me a lot more excited about watching the Man of Steel.
