Michael ‘MPsy’ here…
The soon to be released ‘Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition’ for the Wii will include six games along with a new play mode according to a Japanese blog’s report of this week’s Famitsu magazine. The bundle is due out in Japan on July 19th with a U.S. release sometime in September.
In addition to the classic games in this collection it will also include ten ‘challenge stage’ mini-games, a ‘Kirby History’ compilation of comics and cartoons, a memorial fanbook of character art, and a soundtrack CD. So if you’re a big fan of the pink glutton then get out and put in your order for ‘Kirby’s Dream Collection: Special Edition’.
The six games included are Kirby’s Dream Land (Game Boy, 1992), Kirby’s Adventure (NES, 1993), Kirby’s Dream Land 2 (Game Boy, 1995), Kirby Super Star (SNES, 1996), Kirby’s Dream Land 3 (SNES, 1997), and Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards (Nintendo 64, 2000).
At the moment Nintendo of America has yet to confirm any of the contents in the U.S. edition of the collection but since all six games already exist in English, it would be reasonable to assume that there won’t be much change between regions.
