Looks like Christina Applegate has been greenlighted to return for ‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ along side fellow Channel 4 News Team Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner. E! Online first got word from Koechner about Applegate’s return and Celebuzz has confirmed it.
At the moment very few plot details are known as the script is still being written but Director Adam McKay has been reported talking about the dawn of the 24 hour news cycle, a custody battle, and bowing for dollars. Your guess is as good as mine what that means but it’s great to see Applegate and Ferrell together again. Production is due to begin in February and the film should be hitting the theatres towards the end of 2013.
