If you weren’t at Frank & Son for Nuke the Fridge Con yesterday then you missed the spotlight event of December, the showdown between Stan ‘The Man’ Lee and ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. We had folks lining up since one in the morning for chance to be one of the first attendees for our 2011 convention. The lucky one hundred in line received special goodie bags which included the limited edition Nuke the Fridge 2011 buttons. Our guest line up for this year included Stan ‘The Man’ Lee (Comic Book Legend), ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson (Boxing Legend), Jimmy Hart ‘The Mouth of the South’ (WWE Legend), Betsy Russell (Saw), Brad Kesten (Charlie Brown), Claire Sinclair (2011 Playboy of the Year), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Ilya Salkind (Superman), Irwin Keyes (House of 1000 Corpses), Lilian Garcia (WWE Diva), Pat Jankiewicz (American Highschool), Reb Brown (Captain America), Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Sara Underwood (Attack of the Show!), Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior), Virginia Hey (Farscape), Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode I), Walter Jones (Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers), and more! We also had Star Wars fan groups the Mandalorian Mercs and Saber Guild in attendance, plus we had rapper Stimey rocking the mic on stage.
