Zack Snyder’s vision of Superman will be quite different from what Warner Brothers has planned for the “Justice League of America.”  In case you may be confused, two different actors will portray Clark Kent and Superman between “Superman: Man of Steel” and the “Justice League of America” films.  Snyder elaborated about this while he was at the UK Premiere of his current film “Sucker Punch” in London.  So, how does all of this work?
“It doesn’t. Like what Chris Nolan is doing and what I’m doing with Superman, what they’ll do with Justice League will be it’s own thing with it’s own Batman and own Superman. We’ll be over here with our movie and they’ll kinda get to do it twice, which is kinda cool.”
As reported recently, director Christopher Nolan’s Batman will reboot the franchise, once the latest installment, “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” is completed.  So, Christian Bale will be one Batman, and then Christopher Nolan will cast a second for the remake.  Finally, Warner Bros. will have its own Batman for the “Justice League of America” movie.  To sum it up, there will be three Batmen, two Supermen, and a Green Lantern?  Forget it!  I’m not going there, because my head’s spinning.

“The Dark Knight Rises” will be released on July 20th, 2012.  The film will star Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Juno Temple, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.  Christopher Nolan will write and direct the film.

“Superman: Man of Steel” is set to roll before the cameras this summer.  It is expected to land in theaters sometime in December of 2012.  British actor Henry Cavill will play Clark Kent/Superman.  Other members of the cast include Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Amy Adams.  The screenplay is written by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins), which is based on a story created by David S. Goyer and Christopher Nolan.  Zack Snyder directs.

“Green Lantern” is due in theaters on June 17, 2011.  The cast stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Jenna Craig, Tim Robbins, and John Larroquette.  Martin Campbell directs this superhero epic.
