‘American Pie’ Returning to the Big Screen! Why?

Here is yet another bad idea coming out of Hollywood today. It seems Universal is looking to get as much of the original cast back together and shoot “American Pie 4.” Why???

The original trilogy ended seven years ago with the marriage of the characters played by Jason Biggs and Alyson Hannigan. That film, “American Wedding,” was a huge disappointment and showed how tired the concept had become. Universal ran the concept into the ground with four more straight to dvd features starring only Eugene Levy from the original films.

Now with the main actors all in their 30’s, is there any interest in seeing their antics any longer. Anyone want to watch Jason Biggs have sex with yet another food product??  

This is one film series that Universal should let die. Unfortunately we know they won’t.
