Back in 2008, Square Enix released The Last Remnant on the Xbox 360. While the game was eventually ported to PC a year later, it never saw a release on the PlayStation 3.

Fast forward 10 years and now The Last Remnant is heading to the PlayStation 4 with a new Remastered version. Originally developed using Unreal Engine 3, The Last Remnant Remastered has been upgraded to the Unreal Engine 4 which means the game will feature higher-resolution graphics, improved texture resolution, and detailed lighting adjustments to name a few.

While the game received mixed review when it first released, it’s nice to see Square Enix give the game a new lease on life by giving new fans a chance to play the game. While I owned an Xbox 360, I actually never played the game so it will be nice to enjoy it for the first time.

The Last Remnant Remastered releases worldwide on December 6th and will cost $19.99.
