Warner Bros. Studio has rolled out its game plan for “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.” The website Underwire was given an official and exclusive secret document, which is only identified as a confidential C.I.A. file. A certain Dr. Leonid Pavil has gone missing. While the document presents the usual redacted statements, the clues are set for inquiring minds to figure out which cultural event will be relevant to the missing scientist’s disappearance. Underwire isn’t talking, and who can blame them. They want the fans to have all the fun.
Here are a few clues:
The notional “CIA” memo posits that the agency is seeking a missing Russian nuclear official who specializes in fuel-cycle technology and reactor design. But why the spooks want to find him is a mystery.
The real questions are, who is Dr. Leonid Pavel? Furthermore, how does he fit into the Batman universe? If you have a clue, your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated here at NtF.
